OUR PRODUCTS

The NWFC catches and processes crabs and bottom fish species in zone FAO 27, Barents and Norwegian Seas. Our fleet catches for Red King crab (Paralithodes camtschaticus) and Snow crab (Chionoecetes opilio). Fast processing and brine freezing at sea using the original technology on crab processors preserves the “taste and smell of the sea” in our products. We sell 6 types of crab products and about 30 types of fish.

The catch of cod (Gadus morhua), haddock (Melanogrammus aeglefinus), saithe (Pollachius virens), halibut (Reinhardtius hippoglossoides) and by-catch is carried out by trawling vessels in the area of FAO 27 (zones ICES zones Ia, Ib, IIa, IIb) and processed and frozen at sea. The consortium's fishery fully ensures catches for NWFC factories on the shore. All our vessels, production and delivery chains are certified by MSC and HACCP. The fleet has registration as an approved supplier to China, Korea, Japan, Europe and the USA.

The widest range of our fish products is provided by the processing of catch both at sea and on land. The trawlers of the Consortium, which includes the oldest Russian Arkhangelsk Trawl fleet, under the guidance of the most experienced captains, conduct seasonal catch of bottom fish species in the Barents and Norwegian Seas (FAO 27, ICES zones Ia, Ib, IIa, IIb).

The catch is sorted, processed, frozen on board and goes to the Consortium factories and for sale. The catalogue of fish products is presented on this page.

Logistics

NWFC has established deliveries to many regions of the world. Standard refrigerators and 40-foot refrigerated containers are used to deliver products from warehouses, there are other ways as well. NWFC vessels, products, factories and supply chains are confirmed by international certificates and have the appropriate permits of the authorities. The possibilities of supplies to other countries as well as other conditions are discussed upon request.

  1. We use EUR-pallet (EPAL-pallet), at the request of a client, the type of pallet can be changed; Eco-certification of pallets is possible on request.
    Dimensions of loaded pallets: Red King crab—1,000 × 1,200 × 1,670 mm; Opilio snow crab—1,000 × 1,200 × 1,570 mm.
  2. Loading into refrigerated containers and refrigerators is possible without pallets. Thus, the transported weight may increase by ~ 2 times. However, such loading will also increase the amount of damage and scrap of products during transportation.
